Today I met with Saskatchewan's Finance Minister Ken Krawetz to present the CTF's 2013 pre-budget submission.
This is something I do each year with the Saskatchewan government. Using feedback from polling our supporters, and research the CTF has conducted, I draft up our top recommendations and present them to the Minister. Without telling tales out of school, I think today's meeting was pretty positive, we've given the Minister some food for thought on a number of issues.
Personal income tax relief, pension reform and continuing to focus on spending control were our top recommendations to the Minister. We'll see how things shake out when he tables his budget in 2013.
